The acquisition of the pilot license includes not only the practical flight training but also a theoretical course. These courses will be taught in a pleasant atmosphere by our experienced instructors in our training rooms. The courses last one week, covering the following topics:

  •     air law

  •     Human performance

  •     meteorology

  •     communication

  •     Principles of flight

  •     Operational procedures

  •     flight performance and planning

  •     aircraft general knowledge

  •     navigation

Our lessons are in accordance with VO (EU) 1178/2011, in the latest approved version. After you have learned the theory, you will undertake a preliminary test with us, which is carried out in the same manner as with the aviation authority. If you have answered at least 85 percent of the questions correctly, we will inform the aviation authority and you will be signed up for the official test. The exam is done in the multiple choice method on the computer, which means there are four answer options per question, one of which is correct. You pass the official theory exam by answering 75 percent of the questions correctly.

In addition to the theory courses, we also offer radio communication trainings that prepare you for the exam to acquire the radio communication license. These courses last 2 ½ days. After the course you can take the exam either in connection with your theory exam at the responsible aviation authority, or take a separate exam at a branch office of the Federal Network Agency. The exam consists of a theoretical part in the multiple choice procedure and a practical part.
