Registration for flight operations

Every student or pilot (this also applies to members of the local clubs, for legal reasons, must appear personally in the office and fill out a registration card at the beginning of the season before participating in flight operations.

We check the following documents:

•     License or training certificate

•     Cooperation agreement with other ATO (if applicable)

•     Aeronautical Medical Certificate

•     Training requirements

•     ID/Passport

•     Logbook

•     Aircraft papers (if applicable)

It is not possible to send the registration via mail or post, as for legal reasons the above mentioned original documents have to be verified on-site.

Every pilot who wants to be involved and participate in the flight operations in Unterwössen requires at least three training flights on the winch with one of our instructors, consisting of a simple traffic pattern, two cable-break exercises, as well as at least 2 aero tow training flights, consisting of a short flight to the position and a start aborting exercise.

 Unfortunately, many accidents still happen often during the takeoff or landing phase, therefore we opted for this annual refresher course.
