Flight operating hours

Traffic circuit flights - Touring motor glider / UL

Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.
Saturday: 8:00 to 12:00.
Sunday and public holidays: no traffic circuit flights possible.

Cross-country flights - Touring motor glider / UL

Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.

Saturday: 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.

Sunday and public holidays: 9:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.

Saturday afternoon, Sundays and public holidays: minimum flight time 20 minutes.

 4 flights are possible daily from 12:00 to 15:00, minimum flight time 20 minutes (in exceptional cases, only after consultation with the DASSU team).

 6 flights are possible daily from 18:00 to 20:00, minimum flight time 20 minutes (only after consultation with the DASSU team).

Please note low-engine-speed take-off after reaching the safety altitude (DASSU Basics).

Aerotow and winch operations

Aerotow:

Daily 9:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00.
A maximum of 37 aircraft tows per flight day.

Winch tows:

The operation of the winch begins every morning after getting the planes from the hangar (at 8:00) and the morning briefing.

Self-launch:

No engine aircraft operations between 13 o'clock and 15 o'clock and only low-noise departures.
Climbing the mountain ridge with a running engine or circling over the village is absolutely to be avoided.

No self-launches with retractable engines possible.

Please take note of the departure routes and always use a headset, whilst using an engine, in order to be reachable by us via radio!

Other:

 All Saints Day (01.11.) is a "quiet" holiday here. We will not have any engine flight operations on this day.

 On Ascension Day, a pilgrimage takes place in the morning between Unterwössen and Raiten. During this time we kindly ask for a consultation with the DASSU team and allow only low-noise flying, as far as is it is possible by the flight operations.
